Jazz Haven presents Giacomo Gates Quartet

Appearing with Mr. Gates will be the extraordinary pianist John DiMartino, bassist Ed Howard, and drummer Vince Cherigo. In other words an all-star jazz quartet.
Mr. Gates and the band will be performing songs from his latest CD, What Time Is It? as well as others. Gates, known for his smoky tenor style, croons in the tradition of vocalese masters Eddie Jefferson and Jon Hendricks while adding his own hipster elements.
At a recent concert in Northampton, Massachusetts Gates performed to a packed audience which gave him a long standing ovation. Don’t miss out on this event!
