Suzanne Stack Presents: Five Dances for An Intimate Space
CHOREOGRAPHY BY JENAI CUTCHER-WEST, DEBORAH DUNN, MARC SPIELBERGER, SUZANNE STACK, & NAZORENE ULYSSE
Suzanne Stack, long time ballet teacher at both the New Haven Ballet and the Educational Center for the Arts, presents the work of artists from both institutions in 5 Dances for an Intimate Space. Where else would a modern dance meditation on time, based on T.S. Eliot’s Burnt Norton, mingle with a rhythmic tap number, a ballet solo inspired by the era of silent film, a lyrical treatment of Ravel’s Tombeau de Couperin, and a movement exploration of the pressures on women to remain ageless? Where but at Lyric Hall!
