The evening will feature three classical pieces: Mozart’s Divertimento in E-flat, K. 563, Dohnanyi’s Serenade in C, Op.10 and, following an intermission, Beethoven’s String Trio in C Minor, Op. 9. Each will be played by an excellently crafted trio of young musicians.

Avi Nagin, playing the violin, is a twenty-two year old Yale School of Music Masters in Music candidate. He has studied from and alongside notable artists in classical music like Yo-Yo Ma and Pamela Frank at Carnegie Hall and other prestigious places.

Colin Brookes, a second-year Masters in Music student at the Yale School of Music, will be playing the viola. Brookes has travelled the country playing in important competitions while earning a Bachelor of Music degree from Julliard.

Julian Schwarz, currently enrolled in The Julliard School in New York, will be playing the cello. Schwarz has been studying classical instruments for his entire, young life and is a vibrant supporter of contemporary classical music.

These talented young performers are set to show off their musical dexterity for all who attend. Future performances will also feature a wide array of musical pieces, from the most famous composers to their lesser known peers, ensuring a different, magical evening each time.
