Professor John

Chrissy Gardner is a singer, songwriter and pianist who began her career in Chicago, Illinois where she recorded her first, critically acclaimed album, Alabaster Room. She’s got an unaffected voice that is often compared to Janis Joplin in one phrase and Joni Mitchel in another. She captivates audiences with her incredibly passionate and candid performances of her original blues, old-school R&B and contemporary music. She is a proud member of A Broken Umbrella Theater in New Haven for whom she has scored three musicals. Chrissy’s band members currently include some of the finest musicians in Connecticut including David Keith on drums, Robert Messore on guitar and bass, and Megan Keith on back-up vocals; they’ll charm your socks off.

Professor John has been a professional pianist, singer and bandleader for nearly 20 years. Originally from New York City, he has made his greatest mark in Chicago. His skills on the ivories are jaw-dropping and he always provides nothing less than a thrilling performance.
